About Karlskrona Bilcenter
Karlskrona Bilcenter is one of Sweden’s largest dealers of used trucks, with approximately 150 trucks in stock and around 300 vehicles sold each year.
In addition to truck sales, we build, equip and adapt both new and used trucks for a wide range of applications, from crane trucks and TMA safety vehicles to box-body trucks and other specialist builds.
The Role
We are looking for an experienced Truck Bodybuilder to join our team in Karlskrona.
You will work on the construction, installation and adaptation of truck bodies and specialist equipment on both new and used vehicles. The role combines truck bodybuilding, metal fabrication, hydraulics and vehicle electrical work, making it ideal for someone with broad practical technical skills who enjoys varied projects.
Your main responsibilities will include:
- Building and installing truck bodies on new and used vehicles
- Fitting equipment for crane trucks, TMA safety vehicles and box-body trucks
- Installing and adapting body components and mechanical systems
- Carrying out welding and metal fabrication
- Installing and connecting hydraulic systems and components
- Fitting and connecting vehicle electrical equipment
- Making adjustments and carrying out functional tests and final checks before delivery

We are looking for someone with:
- Practical experience in truck bodybuilding
- Good knowledge of truck body structures and installation
- Welding and metal fabrication skills
- Experience working with hydraulic systems
- Experience with vehicle electrical systems
- Good problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently
- A reliable and detail-oriented approach to work
No specific language requirements apply. What matters most is your practical experience, technical competence and ability to work independently.
