About the role

You’ll be the connective tissue between the People Technology and People Analytics engineers and the wider People organisation. You’ll run the projects, vendor relationships, and processes that engineers shouldn’t have to get pulled into, so they can stay focused on delivery. You’ll surface blockers early, keep stakeholders aligned, and make sure the roadmap reflects both what the business needs and what the team can realistically deliver. You’ll report to the Head of People Technology and Analytics, and work closely with People, Technology, Finance, and Legal. The first priority is the HiBob implementation.

Main tasks and responsibilities:

• Lead project delivery for the HiBob implementation, SaaS tooling replacements, and the payroll tooling and data improvement project: own the plans, run governance, coordinate work streams across People, Technology, Finance, and Legal, and flag risks and cross-project dependencies before they become blockers.
• Own vendor and contract management: maintain a single source of truth for contracts and renewals, run the activity plan for each vendor review, keep an eye on the People SaaS market, and manage vendor relationships between review cycles.
• Consolidate the People Analytics and People Technology roadmaps into one current view, prepare the team’s Weekly Business Review update, and maintain the roadmap dashboard so status always reflects reality.
• Meet regularly with People stakeholders to uncover pain points, turn them into scoped briefs, and maintain a prioritised pipeline of automation and AI opportunities sized by effort and impact. Manage expectations when demand exceeds capacity.
• Keep the team’s operations tidy: own the Confluence space, maintain Jira (PTCH board) hygiene, make sure decisions and vendor commitments are documented, and spot recurring requests that could be automated or self-served.

About you:

• You’ve managed cross-functional technology or operations projects and can hold a delivery plan without doing every task yourself.
• You’re comfortable influencing without authority, managing up, and delivering difficult messages about scope or timeline.
• You build systems to track things, not just lists, and you use Jira and Confluence as working tools.
• You know the People SaaS landscape (HRIS, ATS, payroll, performance), or you can build that understanding quickly. You can size a problem, evaluate a vendor, and read a contract summary and a product roadmap in the same week.
• You write clear, direct updates and briefs that people actually read, handle sensitive commercial and people data with care, and stay calm re-prioritising across several workstreams at once.
