Playtech's Infrastructure unit is looking for a proactive Junior Network Operations Engineer with great problem solving skills. You'll join a global Network Operations team responsible for keeping our network infrastructure stable, secure, and reliable. You'll work with experienced engineers, modern technologies, and large-scale environments while developing your networking skills.
Your influential mission. You will...
- Perform network configuration changes.
- Work with routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers, and cloud networking technologies.
- Troubleshoot routing, switching, firewall, DNS, and connectivity issues.
- Assist with infrastructure upgrades, maintenance, and deployments.
- Create and maintain technical documentation and network diagrams.
- Collaborate with infrastructure and engineering teams across the company.
Components for success. You have...
- Basic understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, routing, switching, VLANs).
- Strong problem-solving skills and willingness to learn.
- The ability to work in a technical team environment.
- Good English communication skills.
You'll get extra points for...
- Knowledge of Linux.
- Experience with Cisco, Juniper, Arista, Check Point, Palo Alto, or similar technologies.
- Familiarity with BGP, OSPF, VPNs, or firewalls.
- Basic scripting or automation skills (Python, Ansible, PowerShell, Bash).
- CCNA, JNCIA, or similar certification.
