KYC Specialist in OP Corporate Bank Estonian branch is responsible for collecting and checking KYC information and processing regular customer data reviews, onboarding and aftersales actions as a part of Baltic AFC Team.

Key leadership, functional competences and other success factors:

Understanding of AML, CTF, Fraud and AFC topics and ability to use the knowledge in practice when analysing customers and their business
Understanding of banking industry
Higher education that supports in performing the above tasks
Excellent skills in Estonian and English languages, both written and spoken
Ability to prioritize and work under pressure
Excellent team working and communication skills.

Tööülesannete kirjeldus

Works together with others in the Baltic AFC team, supporting business and participating into development
Coordinates KYC required documents collection and performs the operational reviews (CDD/ODD) according to agreed schedule
Checks the accuracy and content of all documents, ensures, and reviews all the data according internal guidelines and regulatory requirements. Enters/updates Customers Files in RPT and Kundi
Evaluates red flags and discusses findings in KYC documents and/or in customership in general with Baltic AFC team members and escalates to AML Specialist if needed
Performs background checks as needed (like Sanctions, PEP, Google search, etc.)
Works closely with Sales and CM team, supporting customers onboarding process related with KYC data gathering
Participates in AML projects and works closely with other team members in Baltic AFC team, being able to substitute them if needed
Monitors customer KYC info related alerts (registers, robot, etc.), communicates with counterparts and informs AFC Specialist when needed
Substitutes AFC specialist when needed.
