The Job in a Nutshell

Are you passionate about sports and ready to lead a dynamic team? We're seeking an inspiring Director of Sports to oversee our Sportsbook department's governance, driving success in both B2C and B2B operations. As the head of our Sportsbook division, you'll manage P&L, ensure regulatory compliance, and achieve strategic goals set by Group Management. You'll lead a team of 65+ professionals, overseeing odds compiling, risk management, feed management, product development, and customer experience. A Sneak Peek into Your Role

Leading the Sportsbook department across all locations, verticals, and markets while ensuring compliant, efficient, and effective delivery of our Sportsbook strategy for both B2C and B2B.
Providing key input for all Sportsbook budgeting and forecasting. Responsible for B2C Sportsbook risk and risk management, and collaborating with B2B partners to develop and execute risk management strategies.
Ensuring successful client launches from the Sportsbook Operations perspective and maintaining operational excellence in managing all GAN Sports clients. Facilitating commentary for GAN Sports clients on trading and operations when required.
Reporting revenues and KPIs to Group Management, B2C, on a weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual basis. Developing and executing sportsbook margins and offer selection according to the strategy set by internal P&L owners.
Owning third-party relationships. Communicating third-party requests, requirements, and feedback to the product department to ensure the highest product quality for our customers.
Setting the vision and mission for B2C and B2B Sportsbook product development goals in cooperation with the SVP, Sports Betting.
Aligning the Sportsbook product offering and operations with Marketing and other departments to reach the company's strategic objectives.
Responsible for data-driven customer management and its constant improvement. Setting Tableau and analytical requirements for the department. Conducting business intelligence and competitor analysis. Managing incident reporting and resolution.
Developing the skills and competence of all employees within the Sportsbook department. Conducting performance evaluations and providing feedback to improve direct reports' performance.
Driving innovation and promoting the Coolbet DNA within the department.

You're good at

You are an experienced leader with a strong knowledge of both B2C and B2B sportsbooks.
Ability to meet deadlines and manage time effectively.
Proactive, quality-oriented, with a can-do attitude.
Capable of handling periods of increased workload and tight deadlines.
Flexible and adaptable to changing business needs.
Fluency in verbal and written English is a must, as it's our primary means of communication.
