Key qualifications for success in this role:

• Bring experience in retail, buying, or a similar business area, which can further strengthen your capabilities in this role. Previous experience in food production is an advantage.
• Demonstrate proficient written and spoken English and Estonian language skills, along with good MS Excel and computer proficiency.
• Leverage your results-oriented personality and strong analytical skills to drive impactful outcomes in your work.
• Display the ability to work autonomously while also thriving in a collaborative team environment, showcasing your adaptability and teamwork prowess.
• Hold a university degree or are nearing completion of studies in economics or a related field, which can be advantageous to your role.

Responsibilities:

• Craft, develop, and implement comprehensive category strategy in Estonia, playing a pivotal role in driving our business forward.
• Analyze and curate a cohesive assortment mix and promotional initiatives for Estonia in close collaboration with our internal departments.
• Manage local central kitchen production assortment and contribute to product development.
• Engage in effective negotiations with suppliers on various aspects of general contracts, showcasing your adeptness in relationship management.
• Keep a watchful eye on category sales, margins, and losses, proactively ensuring budget fulfillment control and strategic decision-making.
• Offer essential support in supplier management and communication, fostering collaborative and productive partnerships.

The Category Manager position recruitment process will include one round of interviews with the Recruitment Partner and Commercial Operations Lead, a home task, and a final interview in English with the Commercial Operations Lead and Product Owner.
