Job description, tasks

  • Management and realization of DTP projects in connection with translation and localization projects.
  • Preparation of projects data in different forms and formats for translation and localization purposes using different CAT tools.
  • Maintenance, post-processing and DTP of projects data in different forms and formats using different DTP.
  • Quality control of DTP projects.
  • Graphic Design and Preprint preparation.
  • Compliance with relevant and applicable procedures.

Requirements

  • Working knowledge of different DTP tools, e.g. InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Acrobat, FrameMaker, AutoCAD, PageMaker, QuarkXpress, CorelDraw etc.
  • Working knowledge of different CAT tools, e.g. SDL Trados Studio, MemoQ, Across Language Server etc.
  • German and English would be beneficial.
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills.
  • A keen and learning attitude.
  • Willingness to be flexible and adaptable to changing priorities.
  • Ability to work under pressure in a deadline-driven environment.
  • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently as well as in a team.
