NETWORK ENGINEER

We are seeking to hire A NETWORK ENGINEER. You will be a part of our IT security health check and compliance team. This team is responsible for vulnerability scanning and security compliance of our systems and components. Your work location will be Tallinn, Estonia.   

We are looking for an analytical person with an IT educational background and preferably prior IT security experience. We expect you to have a true interest in security. This role requires you to cooperate with infrastructure and support teams. It is a rewarding hands-on IT security experience in a truly international environment. Your work will directly affect the entire Danske Bank Group. Our global IT security unit has close to 100 hundred professionals who create infrastructure-based security solutions and solve security incidents. They will have a significant role in your growth and development as a network engineer.  

HOW WILL YOU CONTRIBUTE

  • Run security vulnerability and compliance scans                                                                                                       
  • Analyze and report findings
  • Co-operate with development teams and ensure mitigation
  • Implement security policy
  • Maintain security policies and participate in daily operational lifecycle
  • Analyze current security capabilities and provide suggestions for improvements

WHAT HELPS YOU SUCCEED

  • Degree in science, technology, engineering or math
  • Analytical mindset
  • Experience in network security
  • Understanding TCP/IP protocol
  • Linux or CISCO administration experience
  • Knowledge of security standards and benchmarks
  • Very good English skills (both oral and written)
