At Cybernetica, we always work towards making the world better at handling data securely. Through years of hard work, we've created Sharemind - a new kind of data analysis tool that does not even need to see the data. Sharemind allows new data-driven applications and services that have been impossible before due to regulatory restrictions or distrust.

We are growing and looking for experienced engineers to help us improve the Sharemind products and their applications.

Your main responsibilities will be to:

  • Work with the Product Owner to plan releases and delivery.
  • Enable the team to work efficiently by prioritizing their work and helping to resolve blocking issues.
  • Provide input and direction in technical discussions if the team lacks experience or a consensus on a decision cannot be reached.
  • Participate in the specifying, development and delivery of the product.
  • Give feedback (e.g. code reviews, one-on-ones) to help the team improve their skills.


As a successful candidate, you must have:

  • A degree in information technology or computer science attained or in progress or equivalent level of professional experience.
  • Strong technical background.
  • Sound experience with C++, Linux and understanding of networking.
  • Experience with issue tracking systems (Redmine, JIRA, Trac or similar).
  • Experience in leading small group of people and processes.
  • Very good spoken and written English.


You will stand out by having any of the following:

  • Experience with different agile software development methodologies.
  • Interest in general security and cryptography is a big plus.
  • Think critically, take initiative and ask “why?”.
