At Cybernetica, we always work towards making the world better at handling data securely. Through years of hard work, we've created Sharemind - a new kind of data analysis tool that does not even need to see the data. Sharemind allows new data-driven applications and services that have been impossible before due to regulatory restrictions or distrust.

We are growing and looking for experienced engineers to help us improve the Sharemind products and their applications.

Your main responsibilities will be to:

  • Configure and administer development and testing environments.
  • Plan and implement repeatable builds of the Sharemind family of products.
  • Package Sharemind software and, if necessary, install the software in customers' environments.
  • Document the installation procedures of the software.
  • Define and document the scope of release testing.
  • Analyze error reports sent by customers.
  • Configure and maintain the Continuous Integration system from the perspective of release building and testing (e.g., with Buildbot).


As a successful candidate, you must have:

  • A degree in information technology or computer science attained or in progress or equivalent level of professional experience.
  • Work experience as a professional software engineer or systems administrator for at least 2 years; experience as a release engineer is a big plus.
  • Experience with issue tracking systems (Redmine, JIRA, Trac or similar).
  • Sound experience with Linux and understanding of networking.
  • General experience with virtualization and container platforms (VirtualBox, Xen, Docker).
  • Interest in release engineering, automation and repeatable processes.
  • Ability to think critically, take initiative and ask “why?”.
  • Very good spoken and written English.
  • Experience with teamwork.


You will stand out by having any of the following:

  • Practical experience with configuration management tools (such as Ansible, Salt and others).
  • Fluency in Python.
  • Interest in general security and cryptography is a big plus.
