We are part of the Nordic Aviation Group, a trusted Capacity Provider Airline group owned 100% by the Republic of Estonia. The multicultural company together with our second brand Xfly has become one of the mayor CPA providers in Europe and currently employs over 650 people from 30 different nationalities. We have bases in Tallinn, Stockholm, Copenhagen, Turku, Aarhus, Vilnius, Sofia, Lisbon, Munich and Hamburg. We provide long-term ACMI services for major airlines in Europe

Our current fleet consists of 22 aircraft, consisting of between ATR72-600s, CRJ900s, and Airbus A320s, and is continuously growing. We operate ACMI production under “wet-lease” contracts and on behalf of our customers. We currently actively recruit new talents all over Europe to support our ambitious growth plan. To support its expansion, Xfly is looking for a Remuneration & Payroll Specialist.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure employee data is entered accurately into the payroll database in our HRIS
  • Conduct regularly scheduled audits of payroll records to ensure continued accuracy
  • Prepare paychecks to ensure that employees are paid on time and in the correct amount
  • Calculate wages, benefits, tax deductions, commissions, etc.
  • Ensure that compensation practices are in compliance with current legislation
  • Participate in salary and labour market surveys to determine prevailing pay rates and benefits
  • Overseeing and keeping the remuneration guide updated for all employee groups
  • Collaborate with our departments and colleagues to increase payroll service performance
  • Overseeing and managing the payroll process

Requirements and Experience:

  • Minimum of 2 years previous work experience as a payroll or compensation and benefits specialist
  • Prior experience in HR operations and current best practice
  • Familiarity with current applicable employment laws
  • Hands-on experience with any HR Information System (HRIS)
  • Academic qualifications in Human Resources, accounting, business administration or similar field
  • Working knowledge of basic accounting principles and payroll practices.
  • Experience working with accounting and payroll software or tools.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • High numerical aptitude.
