Position summary :

LOCATION : Tallinn or Tartu

A crucial part of Boku’s business success is our ability to develop great products that deliver measurable results for our merchant customers.  We’re looking for an experienced, creative and customer focused Sales Engineer / Solution Consultant that can work with our sales and account teams by providing critical technical expertise in customer meetings, presentations, workshops, RFI/RFPs, etc. Many of Boku’s implementations can be challenging due to the size and complexity of each partner program. The role of the Sales Engineer / Solution Consultant is to evaluate the technical environment, weigh commercial considerations, and ultimately champion a solution design that can satisfy multi-party requirements between an array of different stakeholders including business leads, product managers, engineers, operations, and support.

Your responsibilities will include: 

  • Work closely with all other departments including business development, engineering, and operations to ensure a commercially and technically viable proposal can be successfully sold and implemented.  
  • Developing a deep understanding of our products and how our customers use them to advance their businesses. 
  • Present and evangelize our product solutions to customers and partners to demonstrate their value and to find optimal product fit.
  • Collect requirements from customers and partners by gaining a deep understanding of their needs and business motivations in order to gain useful market and product insights.
  • Collaborate closely with product management peers to maintain product alignment and to evaluate new or non-standard requirements.  

We are looking for

  • Experience as a Sales Engineer, Solution Consultant, or similar role for at least 5+ years.
  • Preferably in international SaaS businesses, with some time spent in a high growth, startup company. 
  • Excellent communication and presentation experience to evangelize and champion our product solutions primarily in external, customer facing contexts 
  • Experience working directly with large english speaking, global clients/partners especially in collaboration with account managers and business development colleagues. 
  • Good technical background in software development as some of the solutions you will oversee can be highly technical. 
  • Demonstrated experience in documenting and formalizing customer requirements and solutions.
  • Fluent verbal and written English is a must 
  • Strong sense of ownership with a hands-on mindset
  • Experience with fintech preferred.
