We are looking for a Head of Marketing & Communications to take the lead of our communication and marketing strategy and continue to make Cybernetica known both in Estonia and worldwide as a builder of secure digital societies for clients, partners and future employees.
You will work closely with our six product and service departments and our research institute as well as the management board. It is an opportunity to continue to develop and better our marketing processes and try new things while working on an exciting and impactful subject matter.
The position is a maternity leave replacement.

In this role
- You will be responsible for the company wide marketing and communications strategy, its action plan and budget, and coming up with and measuring relevant KPIs
- You will be working closely with sales teams to coordinate sales support marketing activities from materials to content to digital campaigns
- You will also be working closely with HR to support employer branding activities with social media, materials, events
- You will be maintaining relationships with external partners and journalists
- You will manage media relations and company’s strategic communications, including taking the initiative to advise and consult the management board and other heads of departments
- You will be the keeper and enforcer of the company CVI, managing and developing our design system
- You will be leading the team in its daily activities and planning in social media, digital marketing, content, and event production
As a successful candidate you must have
- Previous experience working in the technology field and at least a two-year proven professional track record in marketing or communication
- Higher education (preferably in marketing or communication)
- Strong knowledge of social media and digital marketing principles, and know-how of either producing or ordering in design
- Experience in project management (team leading is also a bonus)
- Excellent public speaking and writing skills (native or native equivalent English and Estonian)
- Knowledge of how digital societies function and experience with business to government or business to business marketing is an added bonus (as is knowledge of international protocol)
- A systematic way of working and have a strong need to strive for excellence
You will stand out by having any of the following:
- Experience in working with e-Estonia related topics or a background in e-governance or cybersecurity marketing
- Previous copywriting or strategic communications experience
- Practical design skills using either Adobe Suite or Figma
- Fluency in additional languages (French, Japanese, German)
