ABOUT THE ROLE

Location : Tallinn or Tartu

The HR Business Partner plays a key role in our people efforts, is a champion of the company’s culture and core values, and a valuable partner to our leaders to grow our business.  You will help us build and deliver people strategies, infrastructure, processes, and policies. This individual will roll up their sleeves and dive into daily HR operations. You'll be working alongside international colleagues at one of the most global technology companies in Estonia. You’ll be collaborating with the global HR team to implement HR policies, practices and programs that align with Boku’s goals and company-wide initiatives. YOUR DAY TO DAY

You will be involved in various HR related matters from hiring and onboarding to retention and everything in between. Being the go-to person in people ops matters for over people globally, you will enjoy finding solutions to all kinds of challenges. You know how to get the right people on board, and you help to make sure they will stay on the right path by working closely with our managers on various people matters. You will be leading a small team of your own. You are passionate about learning & development, you'll make sure that our team's needs are covered - from running internal trainings to putting together workshops for team leads. You are in charge of payroll activities, ensuring that all the paperwork around employment agreements and salaries is in order.

WE REALLY WANT YOU TO

  • Have at least 7 years of HR experience
  • Serve as a trusted business partner. Drive the People strategy and solutions in order to achieve strategic business initiatives and deliver results
  • Oversee key people processes and HR transactions such as hiring, onboarding, exits, performance management, compensation and bonus administration, and efforts related to the employee experience
  • Collaborate with the global HR Team and Management on implementation of programs and initiatives, including employee engagement, total rewards, performance management, diversity and inclusion, and company-wide initiatives
  • Maintain working knowledge of local employment laws to reduce risk and ensure compliance
  • Lead by example to identify opportunities and work to improve processes, apply innovation, and serve as a leader or subject matter expert on company-wide projects focused on process or program improvement 
  • Work with managers and employees to address and resolve employee relations issues and concerns, including taking corrective action and conducting internal investigations as needed
  • Have experience in sourcing and recruiting in the tech sector
  • Have experience in managing a team
  • Have a strong strategic and organizational mindset
  • Have some experience in L&D activities and belief in a learning culture
  • Have strong follow-through skills and attention to detail
  • Have a self-starter mentality and results-driven, hands-on attitude
  • Be fluent in Estonian and English Strong written and verbal communication skills including ability to present with ease to large/small groups
  • Excellent organization and project management skills with ability to direct, manage, and review the work of others
