Commercial Risks Underwriter

• Experience in portfolio management and underwriting
• Very good Estonian and English in oral and written
• Initiative and self-confident  

• Ability to see the whole perspective and the importance of personal contribution
• Orientation to the achievement of the objectives and results
• Familiarity with IT system databases to obtain and analyze data extracts as requested

Due to the rapid growth, we are looking for initiative, business & client-oriented Underwriting department team member, who will contribute to Gjensidige journey. You will join a dynamic and fast-paced environment and work with cross-functional teams to design, build and roll-out product that delivers the company’s vision and strategy. You will be a part of our Underwriting and Commercial product division team.

Responsibilities:
• Follows and analyzes insurance products portfolio results
• Identifies threats and possibilities working closely with Product Managers, Sales Organization, Claims Division, Actuaries
• Follows and analyzes insurance market‘s trends and competitive environment
• Underwrites individual risks and performs other underwriting related tasks
• Creates individual wordings in line with authorization limits and reinsurance agreements
• Visits internal clients as needed to understand any possible improvement in underwriting efficiency and effectiveness
• Communicates with Reinsurers and agrees on Special acceptances
