All about you
- 3+ years of experience in software development lifecycle and release management, preferably in a regulated environment
- Strong knowledge and experience in software development life cycle and agile methodologies
- Experience with Jira and Confluence
- Strong communication skills; a communication style that resonates with and inspires listeners, and an effective use of Agile/project management terminology to foster a common understanding of these concepts
- Experience using metrics/OKRs and KPIs
- Demonstrated successful partnership with internal counterparts
- Exemplify diversity, inclusion, and belonging in leadership
- Knowledge or interest in online gaming industry is an asset but not required
What you'll do
Process Leadership and Collaboration
- Define, manage, and continually improve the overall release process
- Creation of release KPIs, driving constant improvement
- Regularly review the release and change processes with the change team to continually improve overall delivery
Release execution
- Constructing and maintaining a release calendar for the organizations releases across jurisdictions throughout the year
- Work with our engineering and product teams to ensure all release artifacts are properly prepared meeting the necessary acceptance criteria
- Work with our engineering and product teams to ensure release notes are properly prepared for our submissions to regulators
- Collaborate with our change management team to prepare the release
- Act as a point of escalation for any issues causing a delay in the release process
- Primary communicator with stakeholders (business, product, project management) regarding release statuses
- Supporting emergency releases for production fixes as needed
