About you
You should have at least basic technical knowledge, experience in operating an SMA line and educational background in mechatronics or a similar field is a plus. You must be able to work with small components and put great care into details. You should not be afraid of rolling up your sleeves and getting the work done. We expect you to be conscientious and precise to keep our production standards high. The ability to switch between tasks and keep up with the production plan is essential in this role. As our team is international, you should have a good command of the English language.
About the role
You will be operating the whole SMA line (including Paste Printer, Pick & Place and AOI Machine), producing PCBA's for our IoT modules and electric vehicles. In addition, you will prep product changeovers and manage the SMD components warehouse. In this role, you are working independently while having the opportunity to increase production efficiency. Every other week, you will be the Shift Manager and be responsible for prioritising work on the line and managing the other Operator. Therefore the ability to delegate, divide tasks and follow the other Shift Manager's delegations is important.
As our SMA team is small, there is an opportunity to grow and take on more responsibility.
You will be working in two shifts (7:00-15:30 and 13:30-22:00, Monday-Friday).
