We are looking for a new enthusiastic colleague to join our growing team in the position of Construction Material Engineer.
Job summary
The primary responsibilities of the Geotechnical and Construction Material Team are to plan, analyse and design the railway and road projects. Construction Material Engineer shall ensure that Rail Baltica project implements the most reasonable and cost-effective technical solutions from lifecycle perspective and maximize the usage of local mineral material.

We will entrust You to
- Develop and review technical specifications
- Develop the scopes of works for suppliers / contractors
- Participate in procurement processes
- Develop construction and maintenance requirements
- Conduct quality assurance procedures
To succeed, you should have
- 3+ years’ experience of designing, checking or planning railway or road projects or experience with producing construction materials (e.g. aggregates, unbound mixtures, concrete, asphalt mixtures, etc.) and/or prefabricated concrete elements
- Experience in developing QA/QC procedures, requirements and specifications for railway and/or road embankment and structures’ construction
- Good knowledge of geotechnical studies is desired
- Good knowledge of construction materials production and construction materials testing is desired
- Outstanding organizational abilities and technical mindset
- Fluent in English and good command of technical English
- Strives for continuous improvement and perfectionism in every detail
