We are looking for a new enthusiastic colleague to join our growing team in the position of Strategy and Development Sustainability Specialist
Job summary
The position shall contribute to the development and management of the overall Rail Baltica Sustainability Strategy. The Strategy and Development Sustainability Specialist will manage the Project-wide implementation plan for the Sustainability Strategy in conjunction with the Stakeholder Management and Environmental teams, including objectives and key results as well as key performance indicators, and assisting with the development of monitoring tools which can be integrated into corporate reporting.

We will entrust You to
- Manage the overall “Rail Baltica Sustainability Strategy” and then work with Marketing, Stakeholder Management and Communications teams to disseminate relevant information both within the Global Project and to a wider audience (including governments, EU and public)
- Develop and manage a Project-wide implementation plan for the Sustainability Strategy in conjunction with the Stakeholder Management team, including reporting and monitoring tools
- Work closely with the Technical team to ensure sustainability considered as an essential part of the project throughout delivery and the development of operational phase activities, including in areas such as construction (especially working with the Environment team), systems design and lifecycle approaches, sustainable ICT and related areas
- Assist other teams and projects with lifecycle cost analyses and impact calculations
To succeed, you should have
- Bachelor’s degree in sustainable infrastructure, railway engineering, transportation infrastructure engineering, sustainable railway or other field relevant to the Rail Baltica project; Master’s degree will be viewed as an advantage
- At least 5 years of relevant professional experience
- Familiarity with the Sustainable Development Goals and their potential application to large scale infrastructure projects
- Familiarity with lifecycle cost analysis and impact assessments
- Fluency in English as the primary working language. Familiarity with multimodal transport, logistics and technical/engineering terminology will be viewed as an advantage
