About the role
Wert is a recently launched fintech startup which offers a fiat-to-crypto payment service for cryptocurrency projects. We are in search for an experienced specialist who can establish, monitor and maintain a fraud prevention system with the instruments we already use.
We understand fraud as an expenditure item to minimise and not a constant threat, hence we expect a person in this role to see things for what they are. We want to avoid premature judgement of users yet exercise the necessary prudence and attentiveness.
What you will do
- Reveal the transaction risks
- Determine the marks to detect those risks and sort out the good from the bad transactions
design a detection system for bad transactions - Write down technical requirements for the development team
- Draw up decision policies on bad transactions
Requirements
- Extensive experience with Sift Science or similar machine learning software for transaction monitoring
- No fear of fraudsters or weird transactions
- React fast to the emerging issues
- Familiarity with the way event-driven software architecture works
- Work experience in IT and sound understanding of how the work in tech is organised
- Ability to grasp the bigger picture and a systematic approach to your job
