Responsibility
- To be a part of the Data Domain team as a DWH developer role
- Create database objects according to DWH data design model in Clickhouse database
- Load data from the source system (MySQL, MongoDB and more) to DWH Clickhouse data model
- Close cooperation with analysts and BI developers
- Consulting business analysts and DWH users about Clickhouse and DWH data model
Requirements
- Understanding of Data Warehouse architecture design principles
- Understanding differences between Data Warehouse and transactional design approaches
- Hands-on experience or a very strong desire to work with DWH databases
- Good knowledge of SQL syntax (any dialect)
- Preferably, experience with MySQL and Clickhouse SQL syntax
- Experience with relational databases for 3+ years
- Experience with ETL (ELT) or any data loading tasks
- Strong documentation skillset
- Strong desire to learn new technologies
- Very good verbal and written English proficiency
Preferable
- Participation in DWH project as an ETL developer - participation in all stages of development and implementation with a volume of data more 1TB
- Experience with Clickhouse DB is a big plus
- Experience of direct interaction with DWH stakeholders, collecting requirements
- Understanding of BI tools market, hands-on experience with any of BI tool
