What you'll do
We are looking for a highly motivated, team-oriented Junior Analyst in Trading Operations to join our growing Operations team. The role sits where operations, accounts receivable and data meet: you will reconcile the trade life-cycle, make sure what we trade is billed and paid, and use the underlying data to create analytics/insights for use in management and operational tools that support the business. You will be given the opportunity to have an impact on the success of the company and gain valuable experience in the financial industry, with mentorship from current senior analysts supporting your professional development and growth.
The primary responsibility is driving the operational and receivables functions within the PrismFP Group. There are many aspects to this role – including:
- Reconciliations: run derivative instruments (options and futures) trade life-cycle reconciliations, including daily and monthly cash reconciliations for debt settlement.
- Data analysis and reporting: prepare internal and external reporting and analyse trade and billing data to answer company-specific questions.
- Billing: affirm trades billed through the FIA Tech Atlantis billing system and generate and distribute manual invoices.
- Debt collection: proactively collect current-year receivables from clearers (multinational investment banks), following up via calls and email; track payment commitments and outcomes, and monitor outstanding receivables.
- Trade investigation: resolve late reallocations and rate discrepancies by coordinating with Sales, Operations and Client Management teams to ensure accurate billing.
- Process development: extend the business and data processing functionality of our Python-based systems that run the reconciliations, debt-collection and monitoring, and test and debug those processes.
- Process improvement: work together with different teams, reviewing their current processes and proactively suggesting improvements – optimizations and automations.
- Business intelligence: support building and maintaining Power BI reports for day-to-day business activities and management insights.
- Ad-hoc projects led by Operations and/or Finance.
You will receive training and support to succeed in this role. We welcome junior candidates without prior experience in this varied position, as long as they are data-oriented, comfortable working with different teams, and curious about how complex data processing systems work – eager to automate existing processes and to explore how AI can be applied in development and analysis.

- Respectful, polite and positive, and works well both independently and in a team.
- Excellent punctuality and reliability.
- A willingness to learn and develop within the business.
- Interest in financial markets – fixed income and equity derivatives.
- A degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Computer Science or a related field.
