We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Electronic Components Buyer to manage the sourcing and procurement of electronic components, mechanical parts, and manufacturing services required for our products. The successful candidate will work closely with engineering, production, quality, and suppliers to ensure material availability, cost competitiveness, and supply chain continuity.

Education
- Technical or business-related education preferred.
- Electronics, supply chain, logistics, procurement, or engineering background is an advantage.
Experience
- 2+ years experience in procurement, purchasing, or sourcing.
- Experience with electronic components is highly preferred.
- Experience working with distributors such as Arrow, Avnet, DigiKey, Mouser, Farnell, Rutronik, EBV, or similar is advantageous.
- Experience of EMS field is advantageous.
Skills
- Strong negotiation skills.
- Good analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work with ERP systems and Excel.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Understanding of BOM structures and component sourcing.
- Good written and spoken English.

Key Responsibilities
Procurement & Sourcing
- Purchase electronic components, PCBs, cable assemblies, mechanical parts, and manufacturing services.
- Request, evaluate, and negotiate supplier quotations (RFQs).
- Compare pricing, lead times, MOQ requirements, and delivery conditions.
- Place purchase orders and monitor order execution.
Supplier Management
- Maintain relationships with distributors, manufacturers, and EMS suppliers.
- Support supplier qualification and Approved Vendor List (AVL) activities.
- Monitor supplier performance regarding quality, delivery, responsiveness, and cost.
- Participate in supplier audits and business reviews when required.
Supply Chain Planning
- Review demand forecasts and production schedules.
- Ensure material availability to support manufacturing plans.
- Identify supply risks and develop mitigation plans.
- Manage shortages, allocation situations, and obsolete components.
Market Intelligence
- Monitor electronic component market trends.
- Track lead times, pricing fluctuations, PCNs, PDNs, and EOL notifications.
- Identify alternative sources and replacement components.
ERP & Data Management
- Maintain accurate supplier and purchasing data in ERP systems.
- Monitor inventory levels and purchasing KPIs.
- Generate procurement reports and analyses.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with Engineering, Production, Quality, and Logistics teams.
- Support NPI (New Product Introduction) projects.
- Participate in cost reduction and supply chain improvement initiatives.
