Expectations for the Candidate
We are looking for an experienced Bespoke Travel Specialist with in-depth destination expertise in the Nordic and Baltic regions or a strong background in luxury travel, ideally a combination of both. The ideal candidate will play a key role in designing exceptional, tailor-made travel experiences that showcase the unique character, culture, and natural beauty of these destinations. If you have a keen eye for detail, a passion for creating memorable journeys, and the expertise to turn clients' travel ideas into thoughtfully crafted itineraries, we would love to hear from you.
Role & responsibilities
- Design bespoke travel itineraries across the Nordic and Baltic regions, tailored to clients' requests, preferences, expectations, and budgets.
- Manage bookings with destination partners and suppliers, and prepare quotations.
- Oversee the entire travel planning process, from the initial enquiry and sales process through booking, travel arrangements, invoicing, and post-travel feedback.
- Ensure cost-effective and efficient booking arrangements while maintaining a high standard of service and customer satisfaction.
- Communicate with both B2C and B2B clients by email and phone, building and maintaining strong professional relationships.
- Establish and maintain relationships with destination partners and suppliers.
- Prepare travel documents and provide assistance to guests during their trips when needed.
- Maintain and update client and supplier databases, ensuring information is accurate and up to date.
- Research destinations, experiences, and travel services to maintain up-to-date destination knowledge and continuously improve the quality of our offerings.
- Support ad hoc projects and other business activities as required.
- Provide emergency phone support to travelling guests outside regular office hours according to an agreed schedule, with additional compensation as agreed.
- Travel to our destinations for training and familiarization purposes, and participate in industry events when required.
