IT Service Desk Agent
We are looking for IT Service Desk Agent, whose job purpose is to provide IT support to Hurtigruten people. The person will be a part of an active first-line IT team, responsible for resolving IT Incidents, and service requests, from simple to mid-complex cases in a timely manner with quality, and active communication on the case status
Main tasks:
- Log and review incidents/ service requests – record and document incidents/requesust received by call or via ITSM tool, prioritization of cases

Incident/ request management – Solving 1st and 2nd level issues remotely or forwarding/escalating to other resolver groups. Perform hands on fixes at a desktop level when required.

Communicate the users - Proactive communication to users regarding statuses of cases via telephone or IT portal.

Participate in IT initiatives - (i.e., monthly patching health check or hyper care support in or out of business hours)

Knowledge base updates – Proactively update KB

Travel to company locations for onsite support. +Local office support

- Bachelors Degree in IT or relevant experience.
- ITIL Foundation V3/4, ComTIA A+ or comparable certification/training
- Experience in a customer-facing role is desirable
- Experience from working in a corporate environment is desirable
- Agile and Lean ways of working
- Speak and write English fluently
- Strong customer service skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills, both verbal and written
- Self-motivation with commitment, drive and enthusiasm
- A can do outlook with the ability to work on own initiative or as part of a team
