Qualifications needed to be successful in this role
- Bachelors degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in Kubernetes administration, including designing, deploying, and managing production-grade Kubernetes clusters.
- Proficiency in Linux system administration and shell scripting.
- Well developed understanding of containerization concepts and technologies (Docker, container runtimes).
Your key responsibilities in this role will be
- Design, deploy and manage Kubernetes clusters
- Perform upgrades, patches and maintenance tasks on Kubernetes
- Implement and maintain security policies, ACL and compliance requirements for Kubernetes
- Monitor cluster health, performance, capacity and implement proactive measures to optimize performance and resource utilization
- Provide guidance and mentorship for other team members and contribute to knowledge sharing within the team
