Purpose of the role:
We are seeking an experienced and customer-focused Bar Waiter/Waitress to join our team. The ideal candidate will contribute to the high-end atmosphere of our club and hotel by providing impeccable service to patrons at the bar and throughout the venue.
Your responsibilities will be:
- Taking and processing drink orders accurately and efficiently, delivering a high level of customer service.
- Preparing and serving a variety of beverages, including cocktails, wines, and non-alcoholic drinks, with attention to presentation and quality.
- Interacting with guests in a friendly and professional manner, providing recommendations and ensuring a positive and memorable experience.
- Responding promptly to guest inquiries, concerns, and special requests.
- Maintaining cleanliness and organization in the bar area, including glassware, utensils, and bar tools.
- Assisting in restocking and replenishing bar supplies as needed.
- Providing table service to guests seated in the bar area or other designated spaces, ensuring a seamless and enjoyable dining experience.
- Collaborating with the kitchen and bar staff to coordinate food and beverage service.
- Promoting special events, drink specials, and promotions to enhance the overall guest experience.
- Upselling premium beverages and encourage guests to explore new and signature offerings.
- Adhering to all company policies, as well as local, state, and federal regulations related to the sale and service of alcoholic beverages.
- Following responsible beverage service guidelines to ensure the well-being of guests.
What we expect from you
- Proven experience as a Bar Waitress in a high-end club, hotel, or upscale establishment.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Knowledge of beverage service, including cocktails, wine, and bar etiquette.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Familiarity with point-of-sale systems and cash handling.
- Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Minimum age requirement 21 years.
