Right now our Chief Accountant Kadi and our Finance Specialist Merilin are missing one new musketeer for their trio. So are you the new D'Artagnan please bring your fence - ready for battle.
We are looking for the last musketeer to join our finance trio located in our Tallinn office. You will have the unique opportunity - together with your team - to set the agenda, work-flow and standards for this department.
Are you able to battle the financial activities across multiple countries while ensuring accurate and timely operations? Well then you might be one of the missing fencers to our finance team.
We would like to welcome a highly organized and detail-oriented Finance Specialist to join our team. You will need to have a strong background in accounting - preferably in a start-up/scale-up - possess exceptional analytic skills and thrive in a fast-paced environment to tackle the battles alongside your musketeer rebels.
Enough of the musketeers references, here follows your responsibilities, daily tasks and required qualifications🌞
Responsibilities:
- Close cooperation with Customer Support team and responsible for monitoring and managing accounts receivables and billing of the orders (incl. cancellations, refunds, disputes etc. in different platforms);
- Capture and reconcile funds according to predetermined schedules, guaranteeing precision and thoroughness;
- Manage accounts payables;
- Ensure prompt payment of invoices, taxes, salaries, and prepayments;
- Collaborate with local accountants in different countries for tax-related matter if needed;
- Reconcile bank payments and offset prepayments against sales invoices;
- Manage credit card record, travel expenses etc.
- Responsible for the payroll (check sick leaves, vacation requests, and address miscellaneous finance-related queries) in close collaboration with our CPCO;
- Work with sick leaves and vacation requests though our HR tool (we use Emply);
- Submit tax reports to the local Tax Board as required, ensuring regulatory compliance;
- Perform monthly closing tasks for timely financial reporting;
- Maintain effective communication with suppliers if needed;
- Respond to auditors' inquiries, providing necessary information and ensuring compliance.
Qualifications/Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Masters degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field;
- 3+ years of experience as a Financial Specialist, Accountant or similar role in Finance industry, preferably in a global setting and/or in a production company;
- Native in Estonian is preferred;
- Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written;
- Advanced level in using Microsoft Excel;
- Good understanding of standard financial management software and its workflows;
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail;
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks efficiently;
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams;
- Ability to adapt to a fast-paced and dynamic work environment;
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound financial decisions;
- High level of integrity and confidentiality when handling sensitive financial information.
