Sportsbook Manager
The Job in a Nutshell
Coolbet is seeking a Sportsbook Manager to join our team. In this role, you will take ownership of the B2C front end, focusing on performance, analytics, and product assessment. Your influence on product development strategy and the quality of our offerings is paramount to Coolbet's data-driven approach. Day-to-day, you will oversee sportsbook operations and analyze offers, strategies, and markets in core areas. Additionally, you will supervise all core market Team Leads to ensure the enhancement of essential tasks. Collaborating closely with the Marketing team, you will deliver products tailored to the specific needs of each core market.
A Sneak Peek into Your Role
- Taking ownership, analyzing, and enhancing Coolbet's front end and the activities of bookmakers.
- Evaluating the performance of new and existing products on Coolbet.com.
- Assuming responsibility for offerings across all markets and analyzing market trends and competitors in Coolbet's operational markets.
- Offering insights to the Sportsbook department and management teams regarding challenges and opportunities.
- Assisting in prioritizing and vetting new third-party providers. Managing and addressing inquiries/issues from third-party providers through appropriate channels.
- Driving the development of Coolbet's analytics tool.
- Supervising the everyday tasks and deliverables of core market Team Leads.
You're good at
- Having a solid understanding of corporate and commercial law and a minimum of 5 years in the iGaming sportsbook industry. Experience with sportsbook software platforms is a plus.
- Having strong analytical and problem-solving skills, particularly in interpreting data and trends.
- Having a strategic mindset with the ability to analyze and assess innovative sportsbook offerings.
- Effective leadership and team management skills are essential in addition to excellent communication skills for liaising with internal teams and external partners.
- Being capable of meeting deadlines with top-notch time management skills, being proactive, quality-driven, and having a "can-do" attitude.
- Being adaptable to rapidly changing market conditions and technology advancements.
- Fluency in verbal and written English is a must, as it's our primary means of communication.
