Northvolt has an exciting job offer for a Material Handler to join our excellent and passionate team at Northvolt ETT in Skellefteå.

In joining us you will play an important part from the very start, building one of the first large scale European battery factories. Northvolt will play a significant role in the transformation to a carbon free society. As a Material Handler, you will be responsible for loading and unloading waste, materials and cells in accordance with current routines and guidelines. You will also handle waste materials.

In your role as Material Handler, your main tasks will involve: Loading and unloading
- Documents and packaging controls
- System update
- Continuous improvement on current processes

About our future colleague

To thrive in the role of Material handler, we believe that you have previous work experience in the logistics area with a focus on material supply. If you have previous experience of similar tasks and process industry, you will be able to contribute to the business. If you have worked within dry-rooms and clean-rooms in your previous work, thats an advantage.

You also have previous experience of working with improvement work. You have good knowledge of the Office-package and experience of working with IT tools. You feel comfortable communicating in both Swedish and English, in speech and writing. It is an advantage if you have additional language skills.

To thrive in this role, you have the ability to operate and maintain both processes and relationships. You have a pro-active approach and are stimulated by solving problems. As a person, you are communicative, results-oriented, service-oriented and comfortable working both independently and in groups. We also see that you have a strong commitment, drive and good ability to prioritize among your daily tasks.

Skills & Requirements:
- Truck certificate A+B
- Completed safety training
- Be able to communicate freely in English in speech and writing
- To be able to work in shifts
