About this opportunity
 
Welcome to Payments & Cash Management Business Analyst Team. This is a newly established unit within Payments & Cash Management Product Management that will support execution of an extensive Payments roadmap with dedicated resources detailing business requirements in complex deliveries. We work hard to ensure Nordea is compliant with regulations, payment standards and can offer relevant payment solutions for customers in all segments both now and in the future. As a Business Analyst in the Payments domain, you will play a valuable role in developing our products and roadmaps based on our customers expectations, market trends and industry movements.
 
What youll be doing:
  • Take full ownership of assigned responsibilities and drive these in a structured and professional manner
  • Lead and co-ordinate analysis work, breaking down complex initiatives into understandable requirements, thus bridging the gap between IT and Business
  • Understand customer needs, the business and the competitive environment
  • Visualize, articulate and conceptualize opportunities and extract knowledge and insight from data in various form
  • Understand the technical solutions and seek out new opportunities
  • Show design thinking skills and customer-centric mindset to create innovative solutions and get customer feedback
 
You will join a team of professionals passionate about Payments and Cash Management. You will be part of the relevant agile team in the Payments Domain where your assignment belongs in the day to day work. The role is based in Estonia.

Your experience and background: 
  • Relevant experience from Payments, Banking, or the financial sector
  • Must be fluent in English (spoken and written)
  • Previous experience from working as an Analyst within relevant field e.g. IT, Product Development, Service- or Application Management is seen as an advantage
  • Relevant academic degree
  • Ideally familiar with SAFe / SAFe certified and/or knowledgeable in other IT development frameworks (e.g. Scrum/Kanban)
  • Ideally used to dealing with different levels of management
