The Job in a Nutshell
The Payments IT team deals with everything related to incoming and outgoing real money transactions on Coolbet's platform. The team integrates new payment providers, improves the fraud detection toolkit, handles various statistics tools that help give an overview of money flow, and ensures customers have no problems with moving their money. As a Software Engineer in the Payments Team, your main role is to create and maintain software solutions that handle payment transactions smoothly and securely. You'll be tasked with designing and building software systems specifically tailored for processing payments. This could include everything from the interface customers use to make payments to the backend systems that handle the transactions.
A Sneak Peek into Your Role
- Developing and maintaining services.
- Communicating with business and clarifying requirements.
- Planning and grooming the functionality of new features.
- Participating in code reviews (both as a reviewer and recipient) and offering constructive feedback to peers.
- Testing your code and writing unit and integration tests.
- Taking part in planning and creating architecture for the software.
- Working with Docker and Kubernetes infrastructure.
You're good at
- Demonstrating proficiency in modern frontend frameworks, particularly React with Typescript.
- Showcasing skills in Node.js and Typescript, including expertise in relational databases such as PostgreSQL.
- Applying a strong understanding of algorithms and data structures.
- Utilizing knowledge in distributed systems and services architecture.
- Exhibiting experience in REST API development.
- Staying actively informed about current best practices in relevant areas of expertise.
- Displaying a high level of self-organization, ownership, and responsibility.
- Fluency in verbal and written English is a must, as it's our primary means of communication.
