Skills and Experience:
- Over 5 years of experience in SaaS product design and development, specifically finance-related systems.
- Proven track record of independently delivering small-to-medium features/improvements.
- Demonstrated leadership in guiding development teams.
- Strong knowledge of agile development methodologies, and familiarity with project management tools, such as Jira.
- An effective and concise communicator, experienced in working with global stakeholders.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills both verbally and in writing.
- Ability to make informed decisions quickly under tight deadlines and changing priorities.
- Fluent in English.
- Experience with generative research (including interviews and data analysis) to uncover insights into customer needs, product usage, and market trends.
- Proficient in handling complex problem spaces by breaking them down into well-defined actionable steps.
- Expertise in common methods for analysing and prioritising customer needs (such as user journey or story mapping).
- Maintaining composure and providing support to prevent escalations.
- Proven track record in designing and managing large cross-functional systems and processes to ensure successful product lifecycles.
Is a plus:
- Experience in the field of payroll and accounting.
- Experienced with Asian clients.
- Experience with data analysis tools such as Google Analytics.
- Experience with conducting experiments and A/B testing.
- Holds a university degree in computer science, economics, or mathematics.
You will be responsible for:
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define and prioritise product features and enhancements based on market trends, customer feedback, and business goals.
- Producing technical product specifications for developers.
- Developing and executing product strategy and roadmap, focusing on scaling and improving product operations.
- Keeping the organisation in the loop by communicating product/feature releases and ongoing development status.
- Serving as a bridge between technical and non-technical stakeholders, ensuring alignment with project objectives.
- Conducting thorough sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
- Setting clear expectations, delivering constructive feedback, and fostering the professional growth of team members.
- Optimising our scrum methodologies to enhance team efficiency and elevate project delivery.
- Managing the product development backlog, ensuring it is properly organised, prioritised, and kept up to date.
- Continuously monitoring our product's performance and optimising for efficiency and improved user experience.
- Establishing and maintaining relationships with our user community to gather feedback and insights. Utilise community feedback to drive product innovation and ensure user satisfaction.
- Navigating and resolving complexities in a growing marketplace, always prioritising customer satisfaction.
- Conducting ongoing market and competitive research to continuously assess our product's competitiveness and generate new ideas for product development.
