Final Assembly Development and Maintenance team in Ericsson Supply Site Tallinn is looking for a collaborative and diligent Manager of Equipment Engineering!
This is a line manager role where you will be managing a team of equipment and automation engineers. As the leader of people, you will have a key part to play in managing the competence of the team, business processes development and capacity planning.
The Equipment Engineering Departments purpose is to innovate and integrate production technology; to control production equipment maintenance; and to manage asset lifecycles. People in the department also contribute with production automation know-how into Ericsson product design.
What you will do
- Lead a team of Equipment and Automation engineers
- Setting department Strategy, Objectives, Performance Indicators and Key Results
- Keeping up with the forefront of technological manufacturing solutions
- Dimensioning the department size and allocating engineer's time to development projects and product teams
- Leading team's competence, engineering processes and capacity planning
- Driving information exchange on Industry 4.0 and automation topics globally across Ericsson Supply Sites
You will bring
- Higher education in the field of engineering, computer science or relevant work experience
- Previous experience as engineering line leader, functional lead or project manager
- Eye for business, always understanding customers challenges
- Strong technical background, fundamental understanding of product development, manufacturing technology and engineering
- Courage to stand-up for the team to protect & agree on work, priorities and timelines
- Quick adaptability to changing business requirements
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage, influence, and inspire others to drive collaboration and alignment
- Can-do & collaborative approach: I don't win unless the team wins
