About the role
German speakers: become part of a vibrant team of IT experts to create innovative solutions for leading companies in Europe. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful delivery of software projects that meet the desired business outcome.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other developers to understand the business value, requirements, and translate them into well-designed and efficient Java code
- Develop and maintain server-side logic, ensuring high performance, responsiveness, and scalability
- Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality, maintainability, and adherence to coding standards
- Debug and resolve technical issues, identifying and fixing bottlenecks and bugs
- Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices to continuously improve development processes
- Write clear and comprehensive technical documentation

What you bring to birkle IT
- Minimum of 3 years solid experience of Java developing
- Professional working proficiency in German (written and spoken)
- Developing experience of web-based systems
- Understanding of OOPs concepts and patterns
- Experience with Springboot, Hibernate, Typescript, JavaScript, Angular, React or Kotlin
- Familiar with PostgreSQL
- Excellent English communication skills and a collaborative mindset
- Previous experience implementing AI technologies would be a plus
