GROUP IT MANAGER

to join FSP For Surface Protection Ltd. The position is permanent and located either in Finland or Estonia with flexible remote work possibilities.

FSP partners with its customers to offers long-term agreements on industrial surface treatment and related value-added services. Our service covers the entire process from engineering and product specification to surface treatment, inspections and post-warranty maintenance. FSP offers services in over 20 locations in Finland, Estonia, Poland, Ireland and Italy.

Your main responsibilities

As a Group IT Manager, you are responsible for delivering and developing growing FSP corporation’s ICT services and systems according to business needs and objectives. You will ensure the secure and effective operation of all IT systems, including applications, hardware, software and services. This means e.g. finding the right partners that are suitable for the current needs of a growing and globalized company. You will work closely with both internal and external stakeholders: vendors, partners and different business units capturing the demands of the business and participating in the work to develop and continuously improve IT services. You are the bridge between the business needs and development roadmap and prioritization.

Your skills and qualifications

• Understanding a globally operating manufacturing company's needs for ICT
• Ability to communicate actively with business units in FSP countries about ICT topics
• A strong understanding of ICT technologies, services, and trends
• Requirements for information security
• Project management skills
• Hands-on approach to IT Service delivery
• Vendor management
• Fluent English (both written and spoken, the working language is English) and at least limited working proficiency in Finnish

You are motivated, responsible, and self-directed person. You naturally take things forward actively and you are not afraid of bring up your own opinions or ideas. You have proactive and hands-on workstyle, and you are able to work under pressure. You are a team-player and you have excellent communication skills.
