Ericsson Supply Tallinn & Baltics IT team is looking for a Network & Infrastructure Administrator who will provide support with the administration and maintenance of Tallinn factory networks. Working at the forefront of Industry 4.0 innovation, one of your main goals will be to accelerate the connectivity of a wide variety of industrial IoT devices.
As a Network & Infrastructure Administrator, you will:
- Performing routine and non-routine network and server infrastructure administration tasks
- Supporting and maintaining network and server infrastructure hardware components
- Assisting in installation, maintenance, monitoring and capacity management of factory networks
- Ensuring factory network security and stability
- Resolving work orders and incidents opened by end users pertaining to your area of responsibility
- Write and maintain up-to-date documentation about factory network and server infrastructure
To succeed in this role, you should have:
- Minimum Required Experience: at least 2 years of supporting an enterprise environment
- Experience in network planning and configuration
- Experience of setting up and handling physical hardware (switches, routers, firewalls, servers)
- Experience in managing and configuring firewalls (e.g. Palo Alto, Juniper SRX)
- Experience in using network troubleshooting tools (e.g. Wireshark) and network monitoring tools (Nagios, SNMP, Syslog)
- Good understanding of routing protocols (e.g. BGP)
- Good understanding of network architecture and network capacity management
- Good understanding of ITSM practice, cloud technologies, virtualization, storage and backup
- Readiness to support maintenance work and critical incident resolution outside of normal working hours
- Self-motivated, proactive, flexible, reliable attitude
- Critical and analytical thinking with problem-solving mindset
- Good spoken and written English with good communication skills
Your application will stand out if you have:
- Bachelor degree in Computer Science or related engineering field
- CCNA/CCNP certification
- Hands-on experience with network automation
- Experience with Cisco/Aruba switches, Juniper SRX/Palo Alto firewalls
