Description of the role
As a project manager within change management, you will lead change projects to our products in serial production.
You are responsible for running the projects and ensuring that the goals for quality, project and product cost and time plan are fulfilled. Your main interfaces will be members of your team, customers, production, design and other support functions. The teams vary in size and consist of approximately 3-10 members distributed in different locations. The main sites are Sweden, the Netherlands, Mexico, Estonia and the United States. A project includes engineering and verification of mechanics, electronics, software as well as product validation, purchasing and industrialization.
Responsibilities:
• Lead and manage several global change projects
• Plan and schedule project timelines, milestones and deliverables using MS Project
• Estimate the resources needed to achieve project goals
• Coach, mentor and motivate project team members
• Track, follow up and deliver on project milestones and deliverables
• Manage changes in the project and identify potential risks
• Create and follow up on budget and forecasts for the project
• Effectively communicate project expectations and decisions to team members and stakeholders
• Build, develop and grow customer relationships
• Contribute to developing processes and tools
Requirements:
• Sc. or M.Sc. in project management or engineering, or equivalent background
• Minimum 1+ year work experience from project management or similar tasks
• Good knowledge of the automotive market with strong interest in automotive trends, design and development
• Great ability to manage and lead other persons in small or large groups
• Great communication skills
• Result and solution oriented
• Structured and organized
• Very good team/networking and communication skills
• Excellent written and spoken English, with other language skills an advantage
• Willingness to travel
