Senior Operations Specialist

Bolt

Job description

About Bolt

Bolt is shaping a future where cities are built for people, not cars. What started as an ambitious project of a 19-year-old in 2013 has grown into a global mobility platform used by more than 200 million customers and 4.5 million driver and courier partners across 50 countries.

From ride-hailing and food delivery to scooters, e-bikes, and car-sharing, Bolt helps people move through cities every day. Small, autonomous teams drive this work, combining the speed and ownership of a startup with the scale of a global technology company backed by more than €1bn in funding.

And we're just getting started.

Why join Bolt?

  • Build the future of mobility and help transform how people live and move in cities.

  • Tackle challenges at scale that span technology, operations, regulation, and growth.

  • Take real ownership early. Small, lean teams mean your decisions matter from day one, and you'll learn fast alongside some of the best people in the industry.

  • Join one of Europe's leading technology companies, backed by world-class investors including Sequoia.

About the role

As a Senior Operations Specialist, you will take ownership of high-impact initiatives that shape Bolt’s ride-hailing operations and marketplace performance across Estonia. You will solve complex business challenges, influence strategic decisions and deliver improvements with tangible, real-time impact.

Using data analytics to generate actionable business insights, you will identify growth opportunities, develop recommendations and lead projects that strengthen supply, demand and the overall driver value proposition. You will collaborate closely with local leadership, regional teams and HQ stakeholders to drive operational excellence and support Bolt’s continued growth in Estonia.

Salary: From €36,000+ gross per year + stock options. The final offer will depend on your experience and skills.

Main tasks and responsibilities:

  • Own strategic and operational initiatives end to end—from identifying problems through data to implementing solutions and measuring their impact.

  • Analyse marketplace performance, investigate KPI trends and translate insights into actions that improve growth, efficiency and the experience of drivers and riders.

  • Develop and execute strategies to strengthen the driver value proposition, grow supply and improve driver performance, engagement and retention.

  • Build business cases, forecasts and analytical frameworks to assess opportunities, prioritise initiatives and support commercial decisions.

  • Lead cross-functional projects with local, regional and HQ teams, including Product, Legal and Marketing, driving delivery against clear goals and timelines.

  • Improve and automate operational processes, creating scalable solutions that reduce manual work and strengthen execution.

About you:

  • 5+ years of experience in Operations, Strategy, Consulting, Analytics, Finance or a related field, with demonstrated ownership of complex projects or business initiatives.

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Economics, Finance, Business or another analytical subject.

  • Strong data analytics skills and excellent Excel/Google Sheets proficiency; experience with SQL, Looker, Tableau or similar tools is a plus.

  • Proven ability to identify problems through data, develop practical solutions and drive implementation with measurable results.

  • Sound commercial judgement and a hands-on approach, with the ability to evaluate trade-offs, prioritise independently and make decisions with incomplete information.

  • Strong stakeholder management and clear communication skills in Estonian and English, with the ability to influence decisions and collaborate across teams.

Why you’ll love it here:

  • Accelerate your professional growth with unique career opportunities.

  • Enjoy a rewarding salary and stock options, knowing that as Bolt succeeds, so do you.

  • Take care of your physical and mental health with our wellness perks.

  • Celebrate 5 years at Bolt with a 1-month paid sabbatical to recharge.

  • Connect with colleagues at annual company events and smaller team gatherings.

  • Balance flexibility and in-person collaboration with our hybrid model, including at least 12 monthly in-office days.

Some perks may differ depending on your location and role.
