Job description
Do you enjoy solving problems, whether it’s helping a colleague get back to work or digging into logs and databases to find out why something went wrong? Can you explain what you found in a way that others understand? Then you might be the person we’re looking for.
We are looking for a full-time IT Support Specialist to join our IT Support team. Based in our Tallinn office, you’ll support colleagues across Tallinn, Helsinki, Stockholm, Oslo, and Copenhagen, handle complex customer cases, and help manage the many systems we rely on every day.
About the role
The role combines three areas, and no two weeks look quite the same.
1st line support for colleagues. You’ll be the go-to person for IT at our Tallinn office, making sure colleagues there can do their work and deliver to our clients on time. You’ll also help colleagues in our other offices with day-to-day issues through our service desk.
2nd line support for customers. When Customer Relations receives a case they can’t solve, it comes to you. These are the non-standard cases involving our in-house products and IT platform, where you’ll investigate using internal tools, logs, Linux servers, and SQL databases. You’ll learn about our business and customers and use that knowledge to prioritize.
System ownership. Our team administers a wide range of tools and services, and the tasks that come with them aren’t always predictable. You’ll take part in administering, maintaining, and improving these systems.
Across all three areas, communication is central. You’ll write case updates, explain technical findings to non-technical colleagues, and work closely with Customer Relations as well as project managers, developers, and system administrators across our offices.
