Requirements for candidates
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field
- At least 3 years of relevant work experience in software testing or quality assurance
- Advanced proficiency in scripting languages such as Python or JavaScript, with the ability to build reusable test utilities and libraries
- Hands-on experience designing test automation frameworks from the ground up, including modular, scalable architecture
- Expertise in CI/CD pipeline design and optimization using tools such as Jenkins or GitLab CI, including integration of automated quality gates and parallel execution
- Deep understanding of multi-layer testing strategies including unit, integration, API, end-to-end, and performance testing
- Experience with test orchestration in distributed or microservices-based systems
- Practical experience with tools such as Selenium, Playwright, Airtest, HttpRunner, or Macaca
- Familiarity with scalable QA methodologies and infrastructure for SaaS platforms
- Extensive experience testing web and mobile applications, including cross-browser and cross-device validation
- Comfortable working in Linux-based environments and managing test execution on remote servers
- Experience in building mock services, test data pipelines, and synthetic monitoring setups
- Experience working with Docker-based test environments and container orchestration
- Good communication skills in English, both written and spoken
Job description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) located in Tallinn. The SDET will be responsible for designing and maintaining automated testing frameworks, building CI/CD pipelines, and executing testing strategies across web and mobile platforms. The role includes validating international user experiences and collaborating with developers to ensure testable, high-quality code. A high degree of independence and initiative is expected to maintain consistent testing practices across global regions.
