Our Agile cross-functional team is looking for a motivated Database Software Engineer (Oracle) to join us. We develop and maintain Swedbank Gateway solution that combines banking services with the companys business software, making accounting easier to manage. We value openness, commitment and quality.

- Work on Baltic banking API service which offers variety of services payment; account balance; e-invoicing etc;
- Apply your skills in various disciplines of software engineering: working with the requirements, designing and developing and testing a solution, automating software delivery;
- Work on data modelling, performance tuning and archiving solutions;
- Contribute to building high quality data solution architecture;
- Ensure that implementation follows best practices and coding standards, also participate in code reviews.

What is needed in this role?
- Strong software engineering skills.
- 5+ years of experience in SQL and PL/SQL programming.
- Working experience in performance tuning and data modelling.
- Good working knowledge of relational databases (Oracle) and strong data analysis skills.
- Knowledge of microservices architecture.
- Being committed to gain extensive knowledge of Swedbank Gateway solution.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies.
- Great communication skills (fluency in English) and a can-do attitude.
- Experience in Java is considered as a plus.
