What You Will Do:

  • Support the cascade and tone from the top for risk culture within Technology division; monitor Technology division understanding of Risk Culture
  • Support the Technology Governance Team Lead and other team leads in the Risk and Governance department develop strategies and implement improvements to our services
  • Oversee the data quality of KPIs supporting Technology governance and risk, provide results to Group-wide dashboard and support the Technology management team to implement improvement plans
  • Support and maintain information about the Technology Governance framework, collaborating with owners of operational governance processes and ITIL process governance to ensure effectiveness and continuously improve the process, procedures and related tooling across the Technology division
  • Maintain calendar and knowledge base of key Technology governance forums, processes and reports produced to demonstrate Technology governance, including information requirements and review/approval process.
  • Ensure robust and consistent 1st line execution of Governance, Risk and Compliance practices by Technology division aligned with the banks Governance, Risk and Compliance frameworks and appetite
  • Monitor that Technology division owned Internal Regulations are in compliance with CIRR process
  • Provide expert opinion, coaching, training and critical challenge on IT and Technology related governance, risk and compliance topics to Technology colleagues
  • Communicate and collaborate with business and second/third line functions on risk, audit, compliance and legal topics related to Technology services and products
  • Develop / ensure quality and consistency of management information provided in executive and management reports and statistics on Technology governance, risk and compliance topics
  • Maintain awareness of the internal and external environment to understand and respond to changing requirements related to governance impacting Technology division

What We Expect:

  • Expertise in coaching others / leading teams responsible for Risk Management (ICT, InfoSec, Data), Audits, Compliance or Governance
  • Excellent understanding of IT organizational structures and IT operating models, ITIL based process governance framework and both traditional and agile ways of working
  • Experience with GRC and RM platforms and tools, ideally enterprise-wide solutions
  • Good understanding of industry standards for risk management and ICT governance such as COBIT, ISO 27001, NIST, or similar
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to evaluate complex information and make sound risk-based decisions
  • Higher education in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data, Business Administration, Law
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
  • Strong project management skills and ability to drive completion of tasks in complex environment
  • Able to think strategically and tactically to identify and manage technology risks
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Fluent English is required in spoken and written communication
