Senior Project Leader driving Business Change - Group Financial Crime Prevention

About this opportunity
Welcome to KYC Portfolio Management, a team within the KYC unit of Group Financial Crime Prevention (GFCP). We add value by leading business change projects across the KYC value chain in Nordea, and by delivering best practice in the oversight and administration of the KYC business change portfolio.
As a Senior Project Leader, you will lead a wide range of high-profile change initiatives spanning multiple areas of the KYC organization, as well as play a vital role in developing the KYC portfolio management capability. It is therefore important that you have the skills to deliver impactful results through your personal leadership and subject matter expertise, while collaborating across multiple functions, agendas and management levels.
This is an opportunity for you to be part of an important area for Nordea and society in general where you will be working with highly competent people in an energetic and dynamic environment. You will be collaborating with stakeholders from all over Nordea located in the Nordics, the UK, Poland and Estonia. This role can be based in Sweden, Finland, Poland or Estonia.
What you will be doing:
- Taking overall project ownership ensuring project plans are executed from initiation to closing
- Be responsible for project scope refinement to ensure benefit realisation takes place
- Overseeing project deliveries following the appropriate project model and framework
- Identifying and conducting analyses across the organisation and bringing expertise in strategic thinking, business case analysis and business insight
- Shaping and delivering regulatory and efficiency initiatives across the Nordic countries
- Interacting with senior business stakeholders to ensure effective and timely deliveries aligned with business expectations
- Contributing to the development, continuous improvement and administration of an E2E KYC project portfolio, encompassing intake, analysis, prioritization, management, reporting and benefit tracking

To succeed in this role, we believe that you:
- Are an experienced professional within the financial crime prevention area
- Have a track record of managing complex projects focusing on business processes
- Are solution oriented, quality focused and structured
- Are adept at managing stakeholders, including senior business leaders
- Have very strong writing and presentation skills
- Are fluent in spoken and written English
Your experience and background:
- 5+ years experience as a senior project manager in financial crime prevention or equivalent risk taxonomy
- Experience in developing, maintaining and running a project portfolio management capability
- Relevant qualifications in relation to Financial Crime Prevention (e.g. ACAMS or ICA certification) and/or project management (e.g. PRINCE2, Agile) will be considered an advantage
