About this opportunity

Ericsson Collaborative Assembly Platform (ECAP) is a key product that enables 24/7 manufacturing using collaborative robots. Ericsson Smart Manufacturing ECAP team is looking for a Technical Lead to join us. As a technical leader, you will coordinate and implement software solutions in the domain of robotics and cloud integration. You will be responsible for ensuring the strategy of this product, which requires you to collaborate between people from the Hardware and Software domains from different departments.
What you will do
  • Integrate robotics, cloud, and software assets
  • Coordinate the development and research in the domain of applied computer vision
  • Write and implement efficient code
  • Design and implement architectural patterns to secure the deliverables of the products roadmap.
  • Collaborate with Product Owner in defining the problems, requirements for the product and doing risk assessments
  • Work closely with Scrum Master to fully enable the Agile development environment in a team.
  • Engage with Development Team and other Technical Lead to guarantee coherence to the products strategy.
  • Ensure adherence to quality standards and continuously improving methods and tools within the team's processes.
You will bring
  • 5+ years of experience working with robotics, cloud, and integration software.
  • Experience of delivering products in manufacturing environment.
  • High level of proficiency with Python language and its integration with cloud/robotics and other software components.
  • Ability to understand the system and interaction of its components with each other.
  • Expertise in solving computer vision problems.
  • Competence at infrastructure provision in a cloud.
  • Comprehensive interpersonal communication skills to be able to build trust and interpose organizational vision within product team and other teams, including Smart Manufacturing.
  • Strong power skills to bring people together and promote ideas and team forward.

Some experience with
  • Universal Robots and consumption of its API.
  • ROS.
  • Azure cloud and its native services.
  • Object detection and semantic segmentation.
  • Camera, robot and camera-to-robot calibration techniques.
  • Angular and .NET.
  • Application of modern architectural frameworks, such as Microsoft Well-Architected framework.
  • Python libraries, such as Dependency Injector, OpenCV, NumPy. Typed Python.
