What You Will Do:

  • Provide professional analysis (includes both the strong and the weak aspects of the Customer/Exposure) of prepared credit memos (including customer risk assessment) and make decision on granting lending products based on credit strategy.
  • Evaluate Customers financial figures to make grounded statements about customers financial performance.
  • Defend the decision made at higher level decision-making authority. Perform analysis of decisions upon credit risk request and valid procedures.
  • Monitor and provide feedback regarding credit MEMO quality to preparing units / direct manager or upon request.
  • Reviewing prepared credit proposal/memos and all attached materials regarding the application and ensuring they are in compliance with Luminor crediting requirements.
  • Ensure excellent customer service and achieve individual and team targets, KPI and OKRs.
  • Ensure that customers are served in accordance with policies (KYC, AML, data security and compliance etc.) and concepts.
  • Sustain required competencies within a team to improve quality of made decisions.
  • Support and provide solutions (including activities in working groups) for sales units in complex credit cases.
  • Inform about suspicious and unusual deals or transactions of customers.
  • Strictly follow existing procedures, instructions, ethic code, confidential information preservation, banking secrecy and other related legal requirements.
  • Ensure data quality and insert data into Banking systems accordingly to existing quality standards, processes and procedures.
  • Implement required changes in a professional and timely manner.

What We Expect:

  • 1-2 years of experience in credit risk field and 3-5 years of experience in financial sector
  • Degree in Economics, Finance or related field
  • Knowledge of credit processes and credit strategy
  • Ability to find reasonable balance between business and credit risk appetite
  • Knowledge of banking products and services and programs
  • Strong analytical skills (customer financial and operational analysis)
  • Ability to gather, systemize and present information
  • Decision-making ability and initiative
  • Customer service skills
  • Fluent English and Estonian is required in spoken and written communication
