About the role

You will lead a team of Accounts Payable Specialists and work closely with other Finance specialists and managers to develop the Accounting function in Bolt. You have the desire to initiate and drive process improvements, have the ability to manage projects and people, and understand and manage accounting Objectives and Key Results together with your team and manager.
You will be carrying out Regional Lead responsibilities in accordance with the applicable laws and regulations in respective countries and also participate in the development and lead high-quality services delivery processes. 

Responsibilities


  • Manage and supervise the team of specialists, providing guidance, coaching, and support to ensure high-quality timely performance and professional development
  • Initiating and managing process development and automatization projects
  • Monitor and analyze financial data, identifying trends and providing recommendations for improvement in financial performance
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support the team and business by providing financial insights and guidance
  • Identify, recommend and implement solutions in consultation with the management for continuous improvement opportunities in the areas of operation
  • Foster a positive work environment, promoting teamwork, collaboration, and continuous improvement within the accounts payable function
  • Participate in the development and maintenance of company policies and strategy
  • Ensure that all invoices and expenses reports are accurately processed and authorized within agreed deadlines and assisting with month-end closing activities

Profile :

  • University education, preferably in Finance/Accounting related discipline
  • 4+ years of working experience in finance/AP with a portion of it being in a supervisory role
  • Strong leadership skills with a dedication to driving and achieving results
  • Full professional proficiency in English
  • Advanced MS Excel skills. Experience with other financial systems
  • "Can-do" attitude and ability to prioritize and deliver
  • Strong team player, but also able to work independently
  • Knowledge of accounting software Workday is an advantage
