About the role
We are looking for a driven individual to join as a Manager within our People & Workplace team. As the Manager for HQ People Partnering, you will be guiding the HQ People Partnering team to establish strong cooperation and support for both our business leaders and employees in Estonia, where our global headquarters is situated
As the Manager for HQ People Partnering, you will be guiding the HQ People Partnering team to establish a strong partnership and support for both our business leaders and employees in Estonia, where our global headquarters is situated. Your responsibilities will involve close cooperation with People Business Partners, regional People Operations Managers and People Centers of Excellence (COEs) to facilitate Bolt's continual expansion.
Your daily adventures will include:
- Manage, lead and develop the People Partners and Regional People Advisor within the team, ensuring the right skills and competencies necessary for successful delivery.
- Foster positive well-being among team members, and utilize individual strengths to enable the growth and development of the team, ultimately achieving collective success.
- Cultivate strong relationships with regional and country managers through HR thought partnership, coaching, and data analysis.
- Provide strategic guidance on People matters in Estonia, ensuring that the People Partnering team is abreast of upcoming plans, changes and programs to be carried out locally.
- Contribute to various People Projects, including Bolt Performance Process, Compensation Review, and Engagement surveys, aligning with the Regional People Strategy.
- Ensure the team is set up to facilitate leadership coaching and team-building initiatives to support regional growth in alignment with the Regional People Strategy.
- Support the local People Partners on taking the lead on employee relations issues and in-country employee unions, ensuring compliance with local labor laws.
- Draft, implement and monitor in-country policies aligned with best practices, local labor laws, and HR governance standards.
About you:
- 5-8 years' experience in a People Partner/HR Business Partner/People Operations capacity, preferably in a matrix/multinational organization.
- Previous leadership experience managing teams.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to work with and influence multiple stakeholders.
- Proven success in managing effective development, retention, and reward initiatives in one or more countries.
- Customer obsession, keeping the internal clients and business needs at the center of everything.
- Experience in managing employee relations cases in more than one country, with a solid understanding of local labor law implications.
- Fluent in Business English.
- Results-oriented, collaborative, with a strong EQ and sense of humor.
- Ability to deal with complexity and ambiguity, prioritizing topics that bring impact and value to stakeholders.
- Willingness and ability to travel as required.
