We're looking for a fix-term contract-based QA tester to help us with testing tasks in our strategic projects and initiatives. The main responsibility of SQA is quality assurance. SQA-tester focuses on software development processes, improves them, prevents defects and problems. Your task is to make sure we're are doing the right things, the right way!

Tasks:

• Conducting testing of new software developments;
• Conducting integration testing in multi-party environments, interacting with external systems and making use of IoT devices;
• Analyzing specifications and writing test protocols;
• Executing of the test cases;
• In-depth investigation of the causes of failures;
• In-depth study of how the service works;
• Analyzing requirements, discussing them with business users and developers;
• Writing project documentation related to testing activities;
• Interact with external partners to prepare and execute tests.

Requirements:

• Education in IT or telecom;
• Experience in software testing, min 1.5-2 years;
• Excellent understanding of general manual testing processes and methodology;
• Experience in writing test documentation (test-cases, test-suits, test plans, etc.);
• Experience working with bug-tracking systems (describing defects, creating bug reports).
• Fluent English language, fluent orally and in writing,
• Analytical thinking;
• Results-oriented;
• Ability for individual research work;
• Ability to work with SQL;
• Clear logical thinking;
• Accuracy and attentiveness;
• Perseverance and meticulousness in work;
• Attention to detail, ability to articulate thoughts and ability to work both in a team and independently on a project.

Would be good to have:

• Knowledge of telephony, mobile telephony and internet technology basics;
• IoT knowledge and experience with connectivity management platforms;
• Experience testing in environments using APIs Soap/Rest;
• Experience in automated testing frameworks using for example Jenkins and Cucumber;
• Knowledge of IoT devices and applications;
• Experience in automated front-end testing platforms for example Selenium;
• Knowledge of Linux and command line;
