essential safety equipment for passenger and cargo vessels, offshore installations, defence
and fire industries, fishing and yachting vessels.
The VIKING headquarters are situated in Esbjerg, Denmark. At the global level, VIKING is
represented by 70 subsidiaries and approx. 270 authorised servicing stations. We have
approx. 2000 employees globally, including approx. 350 in Esbjerg.
Viking Life-Saving Equipment Estonia is part of Viking Group and operates in Estonia since
1996 and under Viking name since 2004. We looking for person to service department, who
will handle Ship Owner Agreements (SOA), organize service logistic and will be contact
person between Ship Owner/ Ship and service station.

CUSTOMER SERVICE PLANNER


Job description
Refers to: Customer Service Planner
Responsibility and tasks related to the position:
• Responsible for coordinating SOA service, including logistics and communication with
customers.
• Follow up on coming services and inform customers accordingly.
• Providing elementary technical and R & R support regarding safety equipments.
• Responsible of the implementation of SAP in relation to orders, customer and vendor
data.
• Make sure that approved plans are implemented and budgets are kept in relation of a
service cost.
• Positive development of job area.
• Providing excellent customer service.
• Dealing with debtors.
• Updating of SAP database related to SOA.
• Make reports on development and results within SOA.
• Participate in the implementation of the improving area within SOA.
• Willing to be available 24/7 on telephone and service customer at odd hours.
Travel: Some travel activity may be involved
Authorisation to make economic decisions: None

SPECIFICATION OF QUALITIES


Qualifications & Competencies
Practical background:
Sales, logistics or maritime experience.
Theoretical background:
High school or university degree.
Language:Estonian, English, Russian


Experience
You have the following experience:
• In logistic area
• Preferable to have shipping background and sales education
• Advance IT knowledge, preferable SAP
• Excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills
• Good ability to deal effectively across all staff levels in a multicultural environment.
